Announcing KDE Conference India 2020

Hi there,

Since Akademy 2019, which happened in Milan, Italy this September, folks from KDE India(people like Bhushan Shah) have been constantly working with the on-site organizers(people like me and Rituka Patwal) to get conf.kde.in 2020 off the runway and into the skies above.

The seventh edition of the KDE Conference India (abbreviated as cKi2020) is ready to go! It will take place in Delhi, the heart of India, from 17th to 19th January. Hundreds of attendees, accompanied by international and local speakers alike, will converge at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, New Delhi for three days of talks, workshops, and all sort of KDE-related things (think key-signing session, sticker sharing room and hacking workspaces).

New Delhi (the city I live in) is well known for its diversity, beauty, and its rich cuisine spanning specialities from all the states of India.

The Call for proposals is LIVE right now, and you still have about a couple weeks to submit a talk. We are looking for talks around Qt, C++ and the KDE Community. Talks related to Free and Open Source Software are welcome as well! You never know if you just might get in! 😉

Call for sponsorships and Registrations for attendees will kick off in last week of November 2019. Be sure to follow KDE India and me to stay in the loop! 🙂
